The Buck Institute for Education commissioned the cutting-edge advertising agency, Common Craft, to create a short animated video that explains in clear language the essential elements of Project Based Learning (PBL).
This simple video makes the essential elements of PBL come alive and brings to light the 21st Century skills and competencies (collaboration, communication, critical thinking) that will enable K-12 students to be college and work-ready as well as effective members of their communities.
Has anyone ever told you that you need to have a clear goal in order to achieve something or get better? According to Process learning, the opposite is true. The best surfers are not those that train to win a prize, but those that play with the waves every day because they love it. Process Learning argues that to get better at something, focus on the process of learning and not the outcome, the product.

Learn Spanish Easily Using Binaural Beats! (Headphones recommended) This audio features 50 key Spanish words and phrases.
To use, simply listen to this video with headphones on, Just before you are going to sleep, whilst you are awake repeat the Spanish phrases in your head, and remain focussed on these words and meanings as you drift slowly off to sleep. Your subconscious mind will then do the rest. The brain does have the ability to absorb information whilst your asleep, as you may no from experience when real sounds from reality have entered your dream and woke you up. This works under a similar principle however the binaural beats ensure you are not woken up and that it is only the learning part of your brain that is listening to the video.
How it works; the easiest way to understand how binaural beats could possibly make you learn a new language is to look at it like this. Your brain has an optimal frequency for learning, (when you are totally focussed and absorb information easily) your brain also has a frequency for understanding a new language, your brain also has a perfect frequency for remembering newly processed information and finally there is a frequency of the brain that allows your subconscious to absorb information whilst you sleep. When you then understand that binaural beats can put your brain at any frequency you want, it then becomes clear how this actually works. You are using binaural beats to basically get the most out of your brain.
Features:
Binaural Beats
Full Brainwave Entrainment
Theta Waves
Delta Waves
Frequencies:
Theta 8.0 Hz
Delta 4.0 Hz
Delta 3.0 Hz
Enhanced Learning
Sleep Learning
Improved Language Retention
Improved Memory
These binaural beats are claimed to improve learning, encourage sleep learning, improve our ability to learn new languages and finally to improve memory and help process newly absorbed information. The combination of these 3 specific frequencies is hugely powerful. There are played in the correct order allowing for complete processing, understanding and most importantly memorising.
There are huge claims of results and benefits of listening to this audio, you must be wearing headphones, we have as always the highest quality HD binaural beats, and have extensively researched the affects of this frequency.
Any questions please post below and we will be happy to help.
Please remember first and foremost Theta/Delta waves are associated with sleep like states, so it is not advisable to use this video whilst driving.

About the Course
Edureka's Deep learning with Tensorflow course will help you to learn the basic concepts of TensorFlow, the main functions, operations and the execution pipeline. Starting with a simple “Hello Word” example, throughout the course you will be able to see how TensorFlow can be used in curve fitting, regression, classification and minimization of error functions. This concept is then explored in the Deep Learning world. You will evaluate the common, and not so common, deep neural networks and see how these can be exploited in the real world with complex raw data using TensorFlow. In addition, you will learn how to apply TensorFlow for backpropagation to tune the weights and biases while the Neural Networks are being trained. Finally, the course covers different types of Deep Architectures, such as Convolutional Networks, Recurrent Networks and Autoencoders.
Delve into neural networks, implement Deep Learning algorithms, and explore layers of data abstraction with the help of this Deep Learning with TensorFlow course.

Why Learn Deep Learning With TensorFlow?
TensorFlow is one of the best libraries to implement Deep Learning. TensorFlow is a software library for numerical computation of mathematical expressions, using data flow graphs. Nodes in the graph represent mathematical operations, while the edges represent the multidimensional data arrays (tensors) that flow between them. It was created by Google and tailored for Machine Learning. In fact, it is being widely used to develop solutions with Deep Learning.
Machine learning is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting fields out there, and Deep Learning represents its true bleeding edge. Deep learning is primarily a study of multi-layered neural networks, spanning over a vast range of model architectures. Traditional neural networks relied on shallow nets, composed of one input, one hidden layer and one output layer. Deep-learning networks are distinguished from these ordinary neural networks having more hidden layers, or so-called more depth. These kinds of nets are capable of discovering hidden structures within unlabeled and unstructured data (i.e. images, sound, and text), which constitutes the vast majority of data in the world.

A machine learning approach inspired by the human brain, Deep Learning is taking many industries by storm. Empowered by the latest generation of commodity computing, Deep Learning begins to derive significant value from Big Data. It has already radically improved the computer’s ability to recognize speech and identify objects in images, two fundamental hallmarks of human intelligence.
Industry giants such as Google, Facebook, and Baidu have acquired most of the dominant players in this space to improve their product offerings. At the same time, startup entrepreneurs are creating a new paradigm, Intelligence as a Service, by providing APIs that democratize access to Deep Learning algorithms. Join us on September 16, 2014 to learn more about this exciting new technology and be introduced to some of the new application domains, the business models, and the key players in this emerging field.

Apriori Algorithm
The Apriori algorithm is a classical algorithm in data mining that we can use for these sorts of applications (i.e. recommender engines). So It is used for mining frequent item sets and relevant association rules. It is devised to operate on a database containing a lot of transactions, for instance, items brought by customers in a store.
It is very important for effective Market Basket Analysis and it helps the customers in purchasing their items with more ease which increases the sales of the markets. It has also been used in the field of healthcare for the detection of adverse drug reactions.
A key concept in Apriori algorithm is that it assumes that:
1. All subsets of a frequent item sets must be frequent
2. Similarly, for any infrequent item set, all its supersets must be infrequent too.

Tara Brach - Learning to Respond Not React - 09/02/2015
When stressed, we often react with looping fear-thoughts, feelings and behaviors that cause harm to ourselves and/or others. This talk offers three interrelated strategies that can serve us when we’re triggered by stress, and help us find our way back to our natural wisdom, empathy and wholeness of being. By de-conditioning habitual reactivity, we are increasingly able to respond to our life circumstances in ways that serve healing and awakening.

Richard Culatta identifies 3 major challenges with our current approach to education and suggests how a shift to personalized learning is the key to the future of education in America. To make this shift, we must close the digital divide between those who can leverage technology to reimagine learning and those who simply use technology to digitize the status quo.
A teacher by training and innovator by inclination, Richard Culatta works to leverage technology to reinvent learning.

Hey Adventurers!
In toay's adventure we play Baldi's basics in education and learning in real life. What does real life mean, well we take the video game and we play it in real life in all different locations! In this episode we play the game at a local school. The goal is to find the 7 hidden notebooks that have been secretly placed by Baldi. There are many things that can appear like traps, other players, and distractions. This game also requires you to know your math and some of the problems are impossible. If you get the question wrong look out because Baldi is coming!
