We then see how much they have learnt as their new skills are put to the test in tough real-life situations. Both dog and trainer go through this intense and physically demanding training which requires self-motivation, tenacity and fitness. Teamwork is the goal, and the bond between man and dog is inseparable as they work together to find lost people, track wrong-doers, search for explosives and protect VIP’s.
