This is a detailed video of the app “Floodlight Cam” used by ESCAM’s WiFi light and camera combo. I recently installed this over my garage door and presented everything you need to know about setting up this device. Now let’s do a deep dive into the app to understand all of its features and controls when it comes to using the app with this floodlight camera.
We talk about each feature in the app, such as the reconnect or refresh connection button, film or recording button, device QR id button, delete device option, speaker icon, LD and HD toggle, the bell option to send a precorded message to the speaker, full screen testing in both day and night, the SOS button, light on, off and auto, siren link, download images and cips to your phone, the mic button to speak from the camera, the network information page, the device information page, modify password, record settings, motion detection and zones, mail alarm to send out an email if motion is sensed by the camera, volume settings, PIR zone settings, alarm settings for the PIR, time alarm settings, safety detection, times zones, restore and reboot.
When I was testing these features, I switched back and forth between my home WiFi and the cell network. I noticed the app wouldn’t connect when I switched. It needed to be closed and re-opened before it would connect to the device on the new network.
