The Amazon Cloud Camera comes with strong set of security camera features and the smart platform integration that you would expect from the company that brought you Alexa.
The Amazon Cloud Cam really nestles into the Security Baron Necessary Features Test. Comes with a solid 1080p video, but tempers that a bit with the 130 degree viewing angle, which while better than most is not the widest of viewing angles.
The Amazon Cloud Cam comes with Alexa built and it connects effortlessly to the Amazon Fire, Amazon Echo, Amazon Show. It is a real blast to ask your Amazon Cloud Cam to show you the living room and have the image appear directly on your 50 inch TV.
The Amazon Cloud Cam comes with significant cloud storage as it name implies, but we would have liked seeing a local storage option as well.
The Cloud Cam can be combined with up to 10 cameras if you pay for the Pro version of the Amazon Cloud Cam Storage plan.
In terms of convenience, the Amazon Cloud Cam was very easy to setup and accordingly the app was plenty intuitive. I had no issues getting it going from the moment I took it out of the box and immediately understood how to tap into a livestream and record video.
Ultimately, if you are already a part of the Amazon ecosystem, the Amazon Cloud Cam and wanting a camera system that you can set up quickly with 1080p video quality, the Amazon Cloud Cam may be the right option for you.
