Owl Car Cam Review - Security camera for cars with dashcam functionality
Buy it on Amazon - http://lon.tv/giyae (affiliate link) - The Owl Dashboard camera doubles as a car security system thanks to its built in LTE connectivity. But that comes at a cost of an ongoing subscription and metered access to your own camera. Subscribe for more! http://lon.tv/s

This definitely feels like the minimally viable product. The in-car security camera feature is useful for monitoring your vehicle for up to 72 hours, but everything else feels spartan and unfinished.
The big issue I have here is the ongoing subscription fees and metered access to your own camera. Want to extract footage from your camera ? You'll be metered by the minute while you do it with their credit system. Run out of monthly credits and you'll need to buy more for $5.. and they don't roll over. A year of service is included (with 60 credits each month) but after that you'll be paying $99 a year. It's just too much given what the cost of entry is for this device.
