Let’s start the things with the display. The phone comes with a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED panel. Xiaomi MI A3 display, however, comes with merely HD+ display. So the contents don’t look as sharp. So in terms of display, MI A3 is more of a downgrade while comparing with the MI A2. However, you can find an in-display fingerprint scanner beneath the display. Because of the in-display fingerprint scanner, th phone looks fancy. However, Xiaomi MI A3 fingerprint scanner is rather too slow. So unlocking the device can be frustrating at times.

As for the cameras, there is a triple camera setup at the back. The primary camera uses a 48MP camera, which is coupled by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. So you have multiple options while capturing the images. While performing Xiaomi MI A3 camera review, we found it to be decently good. Images pack sufficient details and colors also look fine. But while doing the Xiaomi MI A3 vs Redmi Note 7 Pro camera comparison, we found the images to be slightly better from the Note 7 Pro. Talking about the performance, Xiaomi MI A3 features Snapdragon 665 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. On the storage side of things, you get 64GB and 128GB of storage. Snapdragon 665 is a slight upgrade over the SD660. So the performance on the MI A3 is slightly better than the MI A2. And while performing the Xiaomi MI A3 gaming review, we found the performance to be decent on most of the games. But when it comes to Xiaomi MI A3 PUBG gameplay, we can just play the game smoothly at low settings. On playing the game at high settings, you will start to notice stutters.

Continuing with the Xiaomi MI A3 Specs, let’s talk about the battery. The phone comes with a 4030mAh unit. Because of the high capacity, the Xiaomi MI A3 battery provides an enduring battery life. But when it comes to charging the phone, it’s quite slow. The phone takes more than 2.5 hours to get the battery fully charged. Xiaomi says that the phone supports Quick charge 4+. But while doing the Xiaomi MI A3 unboxing, we found just a 10-watt charger.
