Michael Schumacher's son wins Formula Three European title

Michael Schumacher's son, Mick Schumacher, won the Formula 3 European title on Saturday- 28 years after his father achieved the same title. The 19-year-old who finished second place in the day's second race in Hockenheim, Germany, secured his lead in his first junior championship with his proud mum Corinna Schumacher present to cheer him on. The racer's father and sporting legend Michael Schumacher won the German F3 tournament in 1990 before embarking on his Formula One debut. The former Ferrari driver was taken out of his coma in 2014 after suffering head injuries during a skiing accident in France in 2013 and now remains closely guarded at the family's home in Switzerland.
