The European New Car Assessment Programme a.k.a. Euro NCAP has come out with its latest crash test rating for the new 2019 Citroen C5 Aircross SUV. Based on the crash test results, the NCAP has awarded the SUV a 4-star safety rating. In the test conducted by the safety watchdog, the new Citroen C5 Aircross scored a total of 33.4 points for adult occupant safety and 42.6 points for child occupant protection.
The Euro NCAP tested the Citroen C5 Aircross for both frontal and side impact protection, along with pedestrian protection and safety assist features the SUV has to offer. The C5 Aircross SUV comes with most safety equipment as standard, like a forward-looking camera to enable driver assist functions, dual front airbags and side airbags, seatbelt pretensioners with load limiters, seatbelt warning, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and airbag cut-off switch. In fact, Citroen also offers an optional Safety+ Pack which comes with radar sensor for the camera that enhances performance for AEB (Auto Emergency Braking) City, AEB Inter-Urban, AEB Pedestrian and adds cyclist detection. If the Safety+ Pack is added the safety rating goes up to 5 stars for the C5 Aircross.
Commenting on the crash test results, Michiel van Ratingen, Secretary General of Euro NCAP said, "These results show that car manufacturers are still keen and able to achieve the highest safety ratings. It is especially encouraging to see the continued widespread deployment and improvement of advanced technologies such as AEB and lane support. It is good news that some of the basic driver assist technologies will finally be mandated from 2022, but thankfully most vehicle manufacturers are already way ahead of the curve today."
The test results revealed that with standard safety features the protection levels for adult occupants were mostly either good or adequate, except for a couple of tests where the protection level was rated marginal or weak for certain body parts. Similarly, for child occupants, the crash test was performed dummies based on 6- & 10-year-old children, and in both frontal and lateral impact scenarios, the protection level was rated good.

Citroen C5 AirCross - ничего не поделать, мир сошел с ума по SUV и если ты не участвуешь в этой гонке, то доля рынка и продажи сами по себе расти не будут. Хорош ли этот Citroen - в этой комплектации получше 80-ти процентов всего, что мы тестировали. Конечно, пока речь не заходит о полном приводе.

Citroen SpaceTourer новый минивэн французской марки Ситроен созданный из фургона Citroen Jumpy. Автомобиль построен на новой универсальной платформе EMP2. В этом видео мы узнаем насколько удачный минивэн может получиться из грузового фургона если за дело берутся мастера создания семейных автомобилей для путешествий из Citroen.
Интерьер Citroen SpaceTourer отделан качественными материалами и обладает всеми необходимыми благами для комфортного путешествия. В этом видео мы начнем исследование автомобиля именно с пассажирской капсулы так как второй и третий ряды посадочных мест -- это самое важное в микроавтобусе. Исследуем все возможности по трансформации салона автомобиля.
За посадочными местами Citroen SpaceTourer мы исследуем багажное отделение и изучим все геометрические размеры проемов и внутренних объемов Спейсторер. Изучим потенциальные возможности по превращению минивена Citroen SpaceTourer в фургон. А уже после начнем исследовать первый ряд посадочных мест и все его особенности.
Под капотом 2-х литровый дизель. 4-х цилиндровый турбодизель маркируется DW10CTED4. Разрабатывался этот мотор PSA совместно с Форд. Мотор в общем неплохой тяговитый и экономичный, но владельцы часто сталкиваются с проблемами ТНВД и клапаном ЕГР. Причем двигатель начинает работать неровно, появляются провалы в тяге и нестабильность работы на холостых и при этом при всем -- никаких ошибок на приборке. При этом машина будет колбаситься и ездить. По большей части проблемы не страшные, но правильно диагностировать неисправность и починить часто не могут даже официалы и разводя руками сетуют на страшное Российское топливо.
В ходе дорожных испытаний мы как обычно проверили Citroen SpaceTourer по максимуму. Динамические характеристики машины. Разгон до 100 км/ч Citroen SpaceTourer с дизелем. Испытаем тормозную систему. Изучим насколько хорошо управляется Citroen SpaceTourer и как обычно проведем замеры уровня комфорта для пассажиров при движении по разным дорожным покрытиям. Не ускользнет и уровень шумоизоляции Ситроен СпейсТорер. В общем, как полагается, проведем полный и подробный тест-драйв, как в штатных так и в немного экстремальных режимах движения.
