We look at the Blueskysea B1W which is now our cheapest recommended warm weather camera. At $55 it has good video quality, sturdy build, WiFi and good status alerts. The B1W replaces our previous recommendations in the Viofo G1W-S and the Viofo A118C2.

Update: September 12th, 2019
The B1W is still a good camera today for its heat-resistance and stealthy build. Mic issues have been fixed.

We have two other cheap options including the Aukey DRA1 which is easier to use, built better and has better customer service. See the review here: https://youtu.be/njXJoiWvses Viofo's A119V3 is our new upgrade pick and you can see that here: https://youtu.be/H4f2HWs_gpc

The Z Cam E1 is a small video camera that packs a Micro Four Thirds sensor in a small body, letting you mount it on a drone or in tight spaces, while capture higher video quality than an action cam.

The Z Cam E1 is the world's smallest Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens camera. Z Cam introduced the E1 so as an action-cam-sized 4K camera producing high quality footage. The E1's portable size allows it to be placed in tight locations, and control via smartphone app makes this camera even more versatile.

People tell me that dashcams aren't legal in Germany... but since they do sell these there I've included them for anyone in nearby countries who uses Amazon.DE

If you want to add a parking mode to this camera and don't mind all the extras wires - they do make an accessory for this - I haven't tested it. http://amzn.to/2GhXtef

NOTE- I purchased this camera with my own money and have had no contact with Aukey or anyone acting on behalf of the company. This is an independant review of a product purchased from Amazon.

DJI Phantom.

- Easy to install and mount. The mounting makes this the most unique facet of this dash cam, compared to other cameras. It fits in such a way up close to the ceiling/roof of the car. It doesn't dangle down, which is nice.
- Be warned, one you stick this on, the sticky pad is staying on your windshield. It's not a suction cup. Just be sure when you mount this, you know exactly where it's going.
- Tested this in hot, summer heat and it still stays in place. I've found the suction cup dash cams eventually fall off (even if it's over a couple months). This isn't going anywhere.
- One of the lowest profile dash cams I've used (and I've used a lot!)
- Awesome quality footage, however be careful when putting the micro SD card in: It's VERY easy to push in the wrong way and it will get wedged in there. Trust me, be careful.
- Also if you're editing the video footage on a Mac, the Quicktime (MOV) video file does work natively in Final Cut. That is a blessing because there are a lot of dashcams that record to a weird AVI codec that you have to convert before editing.

Overall I am very pleased with this dash cam.
