Is the Wyze Cam Pan worth the hype and your $30? Check out my full review to find out if this "budget" camera is worth it!

For $30, you can expect the same great quality of the Wyze Cam V2 but have the extra features like pan and tilt. Other than a period of time where I did not receive notifications, I haven't really had any issues. In my review, the motion tracking was a bit slow which really hasn't been my experience when in my kitchen, where it normally is, being in a smaller room vs a larger room may have played into that? Not sure. Overall, if you have a V2 or have looked at the V2, you 100% be happy with it.

The Ring Stick Up Cam Wired is an indoor/ outdoor camera that works in temperatures from five to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Whether or not you do a paid monthly subscription, you’ll get motion alerts and the ability to live-stream and use two-way audio. Both plans offer 60 days of storage, and there are no long-term contracts. You’ll livestream your footage through the Ring— Always Home app, which has pretty decent ratings on the Apple and Google Play stores. There, you’ll check out your cloud storage, change camera settings, and even receive neighborhood crime and safety alerts.

This will retail for $30 dollars which I'm pretty sure it is one of the cheapest 1080P WiFi camera that has the Pan tilt zoom function. (

Let's check out the features:

It is a 1080p full HD camera with a 120° field of view
It records footage at 15 frames per second and has an 8x digital zoom.
One neat feature of this camera is that it pans 360° pretty fast... under 3 seconds. It has a rotation speed of 110° per second. It just doesn't pan but also tilts up and down 93°

It has a motion tracking feature where it automatically tracks and follows the movement in the camera's field of view. It has clear night vision with 6 LEDs and provides clear images up to 30 feet.

It has 2 way audio and records motion detected events for 14 days free in the AWS cloud.
It can also record to a micro SD card, motion events or even continuously 24/7.
It supports 8GB to 32 GB micro SD card.

- Easy to install and mount. The mounting makes this the most unique facet of this dash cam, compared to other cameras. It fits in such a way up close to the ceiling/roof of the car. It doesn't dangle down, which is nice.
- Be warned, one you stick this on, the sticky pad is staying on your windshield. It's not a suction cup. Just be sure when you mount this, you know exactly where it's going.
- Tested this in hot, summer heat and it still stays in place. I've found the suction cup dash cams eventually fall off (even if it's over a couple months). This isn't going anywhere.
- One of the lowest profile dash cams I've used (and I've used a lot!)
- Awesome quality footage, however be careful when putting the micro SD card in: It's VERY easy to push in the wrong way and it will get wedged in there. Trust me, be careful.
- Also if you're editing the video footage on a Mac, the Quicktime (MOV) video file does work natively in Final Cut. That is a blessing because there are a lot of dashcams that record to a weird AVI codec that you have to convert before editing.

Overall I am very pleased with this dash cam.
